ChatBridge for JSM is a Jira plugin designed to facilitate seamless communication between Jira Service Management and chatbots.
We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about the data we store and process.

📘 Data We Collect and Store​

ChatBridge for JSM stores only the minimum data required to operate effectively:

  • Project Configuration Settings — define how the plugin behaves within Jira project.
  • Encrypted Bot Token — stored securely using industry-standard encryption; required to establish communication between Jira and chatbot.
  • Issue-to-Chat Mapping — lightweight reference linking Jira issues to corresponding bot chats, enabling contextual message delivery.

🔒 Data Security​

We prioritize the protection of user data across all components of the integration:

  • Sensitive information (bot tokens, configuration parameters) is encrypted at rest.
  • No data is shared with third parties.
  • All communication between Jira, chatbot, and ChatBridge is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS channels.
  • Official APIs and endpoints (Telegram API, Viber Bot API, etc.) are used to ensure secure, compliant communication.
  • Operational and configuration data is stored in Atlassian Forge Storage, which provides:
    • Isolated execution environments
    • Automatic encryption at rest
    • No direct infrastructure access
    • Compliance with SOC2 and ISO 27001

This architecture ensures sensitive data remains protected throughout its lifecycle.

🚫 No Personal Data Tracking​

ChatBridge for JSM does not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information (PII) beyond what is explicitly listed above.
We do not track user behavior, access logs, or message content.

📤 Data Sharing​

We do not share any data with external services, vendors, or third parties.
All data remains within your Jira instance.

📌 Your Control​

As a Jira administrator, you retain full control over the plugin’s configuration and stored data.
You may remove or update project settings and mappings at any time.
